White Minimalistic Book Cover
HOW I TACKLED THE BRIEF GIVEN TO ME
Brief
Minimalistic book cover for Czech famous blogger writing about her ultimate experience with British system and the goodness she found in her bad luck. She requested light, simple and memorable book cover design with illustration reflecting her feelings from the time in the prison.
Deliverables
We went through couple sketches and book cover colours but the white was always the winner.
For the book theme, Gabriela Ryskova created the main illustration and the rest of the design with additional typography styling was on me.
For underlining the white book cover design, I selected yellow recycled paper pages.
Results
Book Vezeni Jako Dar (Jail as a Gift) is an amazing, motivating and inspiring book which will be soon translated into English containing Ruzena’s 21 jail experience, 21 prisoners stories and 21 thoughts she got during her time in the prison.
Ruzena was highly satisfied with the results and keep happily using my design services again and again.
One of the latest services I did for Ruzena is her new logo including the version for social media.
